  • September-November. Public Communication of Science Project IRICE (CONICET-UNR). “Han’ofwaj, a trip to the Wichí indigenous childhood” Sensory experience that shows us the diversity in languages, cultures, customs, upbringing and childhood. Different educational institutions from the city and surroundings participated in the three educational levels.
  • August.
    • Series of Conversations on Literacy in Intercultural Contexts. Oriented to Memas and teachers of Bilingual Intercultural Education. Organized by APCD, IRICE-CONICET, UNaF.

  • November. The Universidad Nacional de Formosa donated and delivered 200 copies of the children’s book Hunhat Lheley (Inhabitants of the Earth) to MEMAs (Maestros en Modalidad Aborigen) and students of the Wichi Lako school in Laguna Yema, Formosa.

  • August. Literacy Training Days Learning as a socio-constructive, multimodal and identity process. Literacy in contexts of sociocultural diversity aimed at Native and Non-native educators from schools in the province of Formosa and Chaco, carried out in Laguna Yema (Formosa) by the specialists, Dr. Nora Scheuer, CONICET (National Research Council, Argentina) Principal Investigator in the Group of Cultural and Cognitive Studies (linked to IPehcs) and Dr. Laura Méndez (Universidad Nacional de Comahue and ECyC/IPEHCS-CONICET-UNCo, Bariloche headquarters). The teachers received certifications from the Universidad Nacional de Formosa.

  • March. Initial literacy workshop in the Wichi Lawet Community. In charge of the native educators and members of the team, Aurelia Pérez, and Élida María Pérez, within the framework of two days of work with children of the community.
  • March. Distribution of 1,000 copies of the Hunhat Iheley Book Collection (2017) among families and educators from the Wichi Lawet community, Laguna Yema, Formosa, and surrounding areas.
